Cao Lau
This dish comprises of chewy rice noodles and deliciously barbecued pork slices along with a variety of greens in a pork-based gravy.
Mi Quang
Mi Quang comprises of yellow rice noodles which are immersed bone broth that is seasoned with fish sauce, garlic, shallot, and black pepper. The topping may include a variety of meat and locally-sourced greens.
Banh Bao Vac
Also known as white rose dumplings, this dish is a local appetiser that literally looks like white rose petals presented delicately on a platter. Each dumpling is wrapped in steamed shrimp and includes a pork-filling and rice dough.
Banh Xeo
This is an all-time favourite snack in Vietnam, which is made out of rice flour and coconut milk along with a mouthwatering filling including vermicelli noodles, slices of chicken, beef, or pork, mushrooms, shrimps, onions, and beansprouts. For an authentic experience, wrap the pancake in mustard leaf and dip it in fermented peanut sauce.
