New York Chocolate Show: An Absolutely Divine Food Festival!
The New York Chocolate Show is a festival of everything chocolate. From cakes to candy bars, this show is your one-stop location solely dedicated for all things chocolate and should not be missed if you are a die-hard chocolate lover. The festival which was inaugurated in 1997 by Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet, French entrepreneurs who wanted to provide both chocolate connoisseurs and everyday consumers, an event where they could come and see the diversity of chocolate in its many forms, learn a thing or two whilst being able to taste and sample a wide range of chocolate. Being presented by Event International, it has fast-become New York’s most famous festival and has gained popularity the world over with festivals held in destinations such as Paris and Shanghai.
Ever imagined a chocolate fountain sprouting a delightful array of chocolate whilst day-dreaming in school or at work? Kids are in for a treat as well with a culinary theatre themed for kids, aptly named the ‘Kid’s Zone’ which is sure to have the kids living their ultimate chocolate dreams whilst learning how to make chocolate crafts. To start the event off, a chocolate fashion and gala night is usually held in which top designers create tasty outfits out of chocolate that could have you both mesmerized and transfixed.
